Companies have invested a large amount of money and time in their SAP systems. Along with the systems’ license fees, the time and money mainly spent either to adopt the SAP system to the companies’ needs or to adjust companies to fit the SAP system processes. Although SAP systems are established in many companies now, this doesn’t mean the story ends here.

The SAP provides a standard core business processes for Inventory Management, Financial Management, Order Management, Procurement, Manufacturing etc. Each of these standard processes can be implemented as-is or can be customised based on the specific requirements during the deployment of the SAP system. In the face of quick and unprecedented changes in the markets and business environment, SAP systems have to be regularly revised and updated to keep up with the current requirements. Disruptive changes and new ways of workings are not always supported by the existing SAP implementations. These new requirements are usually addressed within different systems which leads to isolated information silos.

Flexibility and quick adaptation to change may not be reflected in the current SAP investment. All the necessary SAP changes are done by people with required programming skills, either using the company’s IT department resources or outsourced consultants. There are two ways of keeping an SAP system up to date with the requirements of a company.

5 Forms of Process Integration

There are five possible forms of integration between the SAP and the PaperWorkBPM systems.

  1. Upstream processes
  2. Downstream processes

Upstream Processes

Upstream process integration improves the SAP processes by sharing required information with the SAP system and ensuring visibility. The process starts outside of the SAP system, within PaperWorkBPM environment. At a certain point or at the end of PaperWorkBPM process execution, collected data is passed to the SAP system for the continuation of the business process. Upstream processes are usually used to collect and verify data outside of the SAP system by the users or customers with no SAP access.

PaperWorkBPM provides out-of-the-box Process Connector for SAP and Content Services for SAP integrations to support upstream processes. The process data and documents collected within PaperWorkBPM platform are automatically passed over to the SAP process using PaperWorkBPM connectors for further processing. Because PaperWorkBPM integrates with SAP through BAPIs, any change to the SAP process does not necessarily require any modification of integration. Downstream Processes

Downstream processes are business processes started within the SAP system and at a certain point process execution and data passed over to PaperWorkBPM. Downstream processes are similar to Upstream processes, except they are usually follow-up processes running outside of the SAP system by the users or customers with no SAP access.

Supporting Processes

Supporting processes are the processes run to support the main SAP process, such as collaborating with non-SAP users for additional data collection or involving non-SAP users in the process. Supporting processes can also be new processes to compliment an existing SAP process which are not implemented in the SAP. At a predefined step of the process, PaperWorkBPM processes started to support the main process. PaperWorkBPM then passes over the process data and documents back to the main SAP process.

External Processes

Embedded Processes

Internal processes are the PaperWorkBPM processes run inside of the SAP system. Like external processes, internal processes are essentially designed in and executed by PaperWorkBPM platform. This type of processes requires a strong integration between the PaperWorkBPM and the SAP systems.

It is also possible to combine above-mentioned process integration types to address business requirements. For example, an upstream process can be started to collect, validate and approve data and passed over the SAP system and a supporting process can be triggered at a certain point in the SAP process to complement the SAP process.

6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Hakkında Kanun (“KVKK”) uyarınca, GG Soft Yazılım Hizmetleri A.Ş. (“PaperWork”) olarak, veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla,

Online iş başvurusu yapacak olan çalışan adaylarımızın kişisel verilerini aşağıda açıklanan amaçlar kapsamında; hukuka ve dürüstlük kurallarına uygun bir şekilde işleyebilecek, kaydedebilecek, saklayabilecek, sınıflandırabilecek, güncelleyebilecek ve mevzuatın izin verdiği hallerde ve/veya işlendikleri amaçla sınırlı olarak 3. kişilere açıklayabilecek/aktarabileceğiz.

2. Kişisel Verilerinizin İşlenme Amacı

Başta KVKK mevzuatı olmak üzere ve ilgili mevzuat kapsamında, online iş başvurularında PaperWork ile paylaştığınız / paylaşacağınız kimlik, iletişim, askerlik durumu, mesleki deneyim, eğitim, görsel ve işitsel kayıtlara dayalı kişisel verileriniz, çalışan adaylarının başvuru süreçlerinin yürütülebilmesi, insan kaynakları faaliyetlerinin mevzuata uygun yürütülmesi, saklama ve arşiv faaliyetlerinin yürütülebilmesi ve sonuçlanabilmesi amacıyla işlenebilecektir. Bu kapsamda bahsi geçen kişisel verileriniz, işlenme amacıyla uygun süre zarfında fiziksel veya elektronik ortamda güvenli bir şekilde saklanmaktadır.

PaperWork tarafından kişisel verilerin korunmasına ilişkin olarak KVKK başta olmak üzere ilgili tüm mevzuatta öngörülen yükümlülüklere uygun hareket edilmektedir.

Online iş başvurusu ile elde edilen kişisel veriler; Kanunun 5. Maddesinde belirtilen;

Bir sözleşmenin kurulması veya ifasıyla doğrudan doğruya ilgili olması kaydıyla, sözleşmenin taraflarına ait kişisel verilerin işlenmesinin gerekli olması,
Veri sorumlusunun hukuki yükümlülüğünü yerine getirebilmesi için zorunlu olması,
Bir hakkın tesisi, kullanılması veya korunması için veri işlemenin zorunlu olması,
İlgili kişinin temel hak ve özgürlüklerine zarar vermemek kaydıyla,
veri sorumlusunun meşru menfaatleri için veri işlenmesinin zorunlu olması,
“İlgili kişinin rızası” hukuki sebeplerine dayalı olarak otomatik yolla işlenmektedir.

3. Kişisel Verilerinizin Aktarılması

Açıklanan amaçlar kapsamında işlenen yine yukarıda belirtilen kişisel verileriniz; KVKK’da öngörülen temel ilkelere uygun olarak çalışan adayı seçme ve yerleştirme süreçlerinin yürütülmesi amacıyla 1. Maddede belirtilen PaperWork ile ürün ve hizmet alıcılarına aktarılabilecektir.
