With 55 branches in a distributed structure, Bantaş provides interbank cash-in-transit services with armored vehicles. By the nature of the business, a large number of documents are created for control purposes. Quick access to these documents is vital for carrying out control operations.
Documents produced at every location have been easily archived on PaperWork. Archived documents can be viewed, within their permissions, by Cash Center Users and the Internal Control and ATM Reconciliation units, making reconciliations between the bank and private customers much faster.
The project started by archiving the documents of the 8 Cash Centers in İstanbul and was then rolled out to Cash Center Units across Türkiye.
At Bantaş Cash Centers in İstanbul, documents produced 24/7 for cash supplied to bank branches and ATMs, ATM maintenance and repair services, and Private Customer Services are collected at the Maltepe DMS Central office set up in the Maltepe Anatolia ATM center, digitized with high-speed document scanners and transferred to the PaperWork DMS system.
Through integration with the automation application Bantaş uses, data in that system was transferred to PaperWork. Customer requests newly opened or approved in the Bantaş system are automatically transferred to PaperWork through this integration. As a result, index operators at the Maltepe DMS Center simply search within PaperWork DMS to find the record of the relevant document and attach the scanned document under that record. This prevents incorrect data entry.
Through another integration, the Bantaş Internal Control and ATM Reconciliation units can view archived documents from their own systems without logging in to the PaperWork DMS system.
