For a long time there have been lots of questions about digital transformation going around, and everyone has an opinion. People ask lots of questions. Out of curiosity, I started researching what digital transformation is. Once I started, I saw that the topic runs very deep, and I decided to prepare a guide on it. Now I will summarize small pieces of that guide for you. In the world of technology, big changes happen every 10 years and small changes every 5 years.

The big change of the last 10 years: Industry 4.0

Digital transformation is actually something triggered by Industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 is very hard to talk about; it is a very broad concept. I have started to summarize it a little in the guide. Here I will try to explain its digital transformation side.
In digital transformation, the customer is the target. There is one thing Americans are very good at when they create a concept: they find a fancy name. Customer Experience…
And the goal of Digital Transformation is: Customer Experience…
At its core, Digital Transformation is not about moving the work we do in the physical world to the electronic world.
In other words, using e-invoices, using KEP (Turkish registered electronic mail) or using CRM is not digital transformation.
When moving operations to the electronic world, the goal is to discover new products. To change the way business is done, to change the organization, to be able to reorganize and modernize. In short, to be stronger in competition. And while doing all this: Measure, Monitor, Report, restart the cycle and review everything again.

Digital transformation means completely changing the way business is done. So how do I do it?
First, you need to take an inventory of all the departments, solution partners, third parties and software in the organization. You need to define their relationships with one another very clearly. While defining these relationships, you need to fill the gaps in between, prepare procedures for them and put those procedures into practice. While doing all this, you must not forget the answers to 3 questions.

• Who is the customer? Who is the target audience?
• What problem am I solving for the customer?
• What are my metrics while solving this problem?

As the popular saying goes: "Training is a must"
Plan your training from the bottom all the way to the top, and keep going without a break. Training is a must… Move forward in small steps, and don't shy away from radical changes if necessary.

So where does PaperWork fit in all this? PaperWork is actually everywhere in it:

• In building your procedures,
• In integration between systems,
• In controlling, measuring and monitoring your procedures…

What is the biggest tool you have? PaperWork… and the rest of this conversation is coming soon in my guide…
